A Morning Routine With a Side of Cat

Mornings are always a bit of a scramble, aren’t they? Just got back from the gym—feeling sore, but mostly starving. So, breakfast is definitely on the table. I'm not about to make some fancy brunch, even tho I have been trying to cook more. 

First things first, I need coffee. No way I’m starting the day without it. Once that’s brewing, I start thinking about what to eat. It’s usually something easy, eggs and toast are my go-to. Maybe I’ll throw in some avocado if I have any, but most of the time it’s just eggs and bread. Does the job.

Before I start cooking, though, I have to pet my cat. He’s this fluffy little dude who’s always up in my business, but honestly, I’m not complaining. I swear, he’s like my personal assistant; making sure I don’t forget my priorities.

After I eat, it’s time for a shower. Then comes the dreaded task: cleaning my room. Laundry has been piling up, and I’m seriously running out of clean clothes. I’ll probably procrastinate a little (let’s be real), but eventually, I’ll get it done.

The best part of this routine, though? Even though the morning feels like a bit of a rush, there’s something comforting about it. A workout, a quick meal, a few minutes with my cat.
