HOW TF DO I MAKE FRIENDS!!

Anyone got tips on how to make friends (whether IRL or Online)??

I haven't had any friends for over a year now, and the last time I made a friend was like 3-4 years ago, so I don't think I know how to make friends anymore
I work and most of the people I work with don't really seem like the type of people to want to be friends with me, but I still try my hardest to befriend them even though I have no clue what I'm doing and feel stupid af
I'm not in school so I guess that could also contribute to not being able to make friends as easily as most do and it just seems so difficult to continue a conversation with a stranger

It's not that I don't enjoy my alone time, but I see so much sh1t online about people with their friends (not even like a group of friends but like a duo or a trio) and I watch shows and stuff with friendships so strong they're like a family and that's what I want but I don't know how to do that

Maybe online friends but again IDK
