March 2025 Playlist

I've been really obsessed with this style of music lately- can anyone help me describe it ??

I feel awkward saying that I really love this song and feel the emotions behind the song, because I am not in an abusive relationship with my awesome cute handsome boyfriend. In fact, I don't relate to any of the themes in the song, besides "I'll never love anyone the same".

I think my obsession with this song comes more from what she says and the sound of her voice.

Nevermind, I think it's similar to When He Sees Me by Kimiko Glenn from Waitress. Both songs are sung from the perspective of a girl coming to terms with expressing vulnerability despite the anxiety that comes with devoting a huge chunk of your heart to a person. For Mars Argo, the anxiety was well founded; her ex-partner was abusive towards her in the end. But I think something that draws me to both songs is both the anxiety and the combination of optimism and adrenaline from allowing their heart a chance to fall in love. I definitely feel that from both songs in my own heart, and it's why Mars Argo sings, "I'll never be ashamed of using you for pleasure,", she is trying to feel safe and confident in her relationship. I really love this song because I feel like I can, well, feel her emotions in my own heart, and it courses through my veins!! That's not weird, I just really like this song! You don't have to relate to every aspect of a book to feel the message resonate in your soul! Also definitely the part where she sings, "Am I naive to think that he could be the love of my life?". It's cliche, but I just like how she chooses to express that insecurity and vulnerability, especially as someone who has been called "naive" a lot.

God, this pulls at my heartstrings like nothing else lately. I think this speaks for itself. Gah, you just have to listen to it! Especially as someone who has a lot of anxious attachment issues,, and abandonment issues,, I love this song!!!

Idk, I kind of have people pleaser tendencies, god especially when its like a favorite person of mine. Again with these artists, a huuge part of it is the execution and their voice and the instruments!! Everything is perfect and it feels like an accurate representation of how I feel sometimes.

I started off the month (March 1st, 9. AM) on a FANTASTIC start: I basically got an A on my Cal 3 exam despite barely learning the material the night before!!! I also got to see my friends more often, and my sweet awesome amazing gorjus boyfriend turned 19, and he's finally back on campus so I can cuddle him again yay!!!

However, I did miss my Physics lab twice in a row, and I barely made it to lab this morning (which I consider a win).

My friend also taught me how to use Easy EDA for schematics and PCB design for circuits, and it looks cool, but I need to do some troubleshooting.

I'm going back home soon for spring break, and am excited to reunite with my family for a bit! I've also REALLY been wanting to bleach my hair blonde and be like Sabrina Carpenter, LOL, but I'm too messy and stinky and don't take care of myself enough, plus she is just soooo pretty. The desire to want blonde hair is kind of dying down, and I really like the look of black hair. However, I might want to dye my hair in the future since I have these phases a lot, so I might bleach my hair so that I can dye it different colors later, like pink, or red, or purple.

I should log off now, since my boyfriend is sleepy and I want to go sleep with him too.
