people are so cruel

just today at school during my 1st lunch I was as usual with my friend, let's call her m! Me and M always sit outside in the open area during lunch together, well it was as usual today until 7 or like 6 guys in one group (I kind of forgot exactly if there was 7 or 6...) anyways, so they approached us. I'm unsure if anyone knows but like they did that stupid trend or I guess a prank and said to my friend "oh hey, my friend over there really wants to date you" while the guy he pointed at yelled and I quote said "ew bro, let's just fucking go" while pushing one of his friends inside. The guys ended up leaving but genuinely this broke my heart.. My friend has always suffered being a big bigger in size. She's tried exercising, dieting and all of that, but due to a condition she has that lowers her metabolism she's been unable to lose even a single pound. It's so cruel how so many push past that and automatically assume she's just big just cause she's "lazy". Honestly, I did my best to comfort her and tell her just how precious and beautiful she is, but really it's sickening people take the time to do this. She ended up crying and again I did my best to comfort her.
