i dont like caitlyn

so when arcane first came out and i watched it, it was clear that Vi and cait had a thing going on. the tension was there and i really was rooting for them. sure, i did find it kinda weird that vi was able to trust cait so quickly despite her being a cop, but i sorta pushed that to the side. after all, cait was realizing the error of her peoples ways and wanted to help zaun! then season 2 came. now cait is over here GASSING the undercity, treating its citizens far too harshly, and literally hitting vi with her fucking rifle. like im sorry, have we forgotten how she would just smack vi several times? and when trying to shoot jinx she didn't care if she took an innocent child down with her. 

usually i'd actually be okay with this because i love complex characters that do bad things, but the show seems to sympathize with her and by the end she gets eaten out by vi and they stay together. what the fuck? i'm sorry but if someone smacked me, hit me with their gun, further oppressed my people, i wouldn't be so eager to get romantic with them in a jail cell. not to mention vi was on the streets without caitlyn since she didn't really have another place to go after getting out of prison. when cait got mad at her she just THREW HER OUT like huh?? who's to say she won't just keep doing that to her every time they have an argument. 

i was talking to some friends and mentioned that i don't like caitlyn, and they were like "yeah but she's hot". in my personal opinion, she's not hot, but thats not my point i have odd taste. i think its dumb as hell to not see any of this toxicity just because theyre hot lesbians or whatever. vi isn't a perfect person by any means but she deserves better and caits actions shouldn't have been so brushed over by the show. honestly id love a straight up villainous cait and some actual toxic yuri shit, but the show makes everything vi's fault and we're just supposed to not acknowledge the fucking PISTOL WHIPPING that occurs. oh and i think shes annoying. thats all :)
