mar4/25 - patience

hello

i tried posting this a few days ago but i think spacehey was down or smth

i am still in the process of moving out. i've had my house since the 20th, here's the current progress on the living room:

me and my friend made sonic OCs a while ago, and we both decided to draw them. this was my drawing:

and what they actually look like:

i made landbot, my friend made seabot. they double as classic era orbot/cubot assistants/bodyguards to robotnik, but they're also a metal sonic control team. they're both controlled by millions of tiny creature's decisions; landbot is a tiny planet with life on it, and seabot's a man o' war with a load of bacteria. i love them a lot

spring is rapidly approaching, we're in the transitional period in the UK rn so it's supa sunny!!!! but still very, very cold with winter winds hanging around. i'm sure we're only a couple more weeks from the warmth, perhaps even less as this has been ongoing for a short while now

i'm hardcore preparing for summer this year, looking for clothes and accessories now before it's too late. i need some fancy shades and this diva is speaking to me

i wanna get some nice, bright clothing and i need baggier pantaloons to air myself out. i also desperately need something with looser pockets, because my phone always burns my skin in the heat. i also still need to get a new phone for music/photos...

one thing in particular i've been doing to prepare for summer is thinking about the perfect summer day and how i'd spend it. this is roughly my idea:

     1. fried breakfast
at, like, 7am or something i'd fry up a nice breakfast: two sausages, two eggs, two hash browns and a small portion of baked beans. i'd also have a glass of chilled orange juice since that's honestly the summerest fruit drink. very stereotypical yet delicious breakfast to start the day

     2. walk
before this i'd most likely meet up with my irl, but if he's busy i'd happily do this alone. i like to walk whenever i go anywhere, and a walk in the sun is always nice as the bright colours, warm temperature, and positively active outdoor spaces activate all the right things in your head. it's hard not to be happy in nice weather. there's two particular paths i would go out of my way to take, instead of just taking the quickest route. first is the local wildlife park:

then i'd head along this road, which leads straight up to the 'sea' wall (we do not live on the sea. it's an estuary)

     3. ice coffee
i'm getting back on ice coffee... idk what coffee to get but i think i'll finally start trying new ones and risking the cost :s i'll get a nice one to carry around and i'll walk around the high street like i'm a tourist and don't live 20 minutes away lol

     4. beach
i HATE the beach. i hate sand i hate mud i hate getting my clothes dirty or wet and i hate how it feels to clean urself after being at the beach. but this year something in my gut is telling me to get out there and enjoy the sand >< i will be back to kill my past self if i end up hating it like usual but i will take my ice coffee and my business to the beach for a while.

     5. iced cream
cmon man in summer you get an iced cream, the new place is opening up like i mentioned before and they have a bunch of flavours me and my irl have never tried before. our plan is to try almost all of them, but we have chosen to skip 1 from each row of the flavours so we can avoid the shitty ones such as the dreaded

     6. haven
in this town there is a haven holiday park which me and my irls have sneaked into on many occasions. it's rlly nice inside, and one day we used some of my patented social engineering to get the back door keypad code from someone actually paying to stay there... after getting my iced cream, i'll be heading straight into haven for not only the scenery, but also the experience. we like to pretend that we stay there by coming in with items that tourists would carry, and we will be doing that again as much as possible this year. iced creams are a cheat item, but if you have things like towels and bags you're literally hacking bro

     7. fire
haven't done it in a while but me and my irls loooove having a small fire with (homemade) smores. definitely bringing that back for the summer as, surprisingly, fires are no good in the winter due to the wind! summer still has some cold or lower temp nights for you to have a fire without issue, we just gotta pick a place to put it... probably under the bridge of the main road as it's nice and secluded

i don't have any pics form under there at the moment :(

and that is basically the perfect summer day plan (for me), now i just need to look the part, which i will do very soon...

still have blog ideas otw, i'll have one about the games i've been playing lately and one about spongebob merchandise/memorabilia, both things i've hinted at previously. just need to finish moving out first
