King Kong 2005

I just, I find it terribly sad that this movie is never talked about, or at least I never see it talked about. Its a shame cause it truly is one of my favorite movies cause it just has Everything.

the story truly is everything, its got the comedy both visually and those funny little quips.
the horror and thriller violence of the island (the whole scene within the ravine with the giant Insects, Im genuinely surprised I dont hear about it more often its truly terrifying...

but in the end thats all that... what truly sells the beauty of this movie is the relationship between Kong and Ann... its beautiful how it develops, it goes from seems like merely admiration and liking something beautiful to Kong genuinely loving her in his way... and its all told through his eyes, the glimmering life in them.

and that line "his unfailing ability to ruin everything he loves"... the charecters, each of them is just so tragic, and it hurts. it hurts so much.
It makes me cry every time... its always that scene on the Ice, after all that chaos in the city... then he finds Ann and its all better, the music is so soft. the Love in the eyes, genuine Platonic Love, its just beautiful and you know it cant last and it will go up in flames becouse there are no happy endings ever. everything goes wrong and death is an inevitibility becouse we just dont know how to save anything... we just destroy and nothing will ever be born again, God what have we done... we would kill a beast made of beauty and love itself... God its hopeless, we all are.
