guys this is 2 days old news. but I'm so depressed over it. my poor poor 2019-2025 switch..BLUESCREENED. its all cult of the lambs fault. /j luckily my dad will buy me a new one end of this month (wow super rich kids ahh) but I had that thing for so long dude, AND I lost all my frickin data on games incompatible w nintendos cloud service shit..why make it a service if its not compatible with some games?? so dumb :/ back to kamoshidas palace I go. (persona ref)

If you switch bluescreens, you could send it to nintendo and see if they can send you it back and working. If not, they can send you back a new switch with the data recovered.
However, I recommend getting your games on PC platforms from now on if you want true data safety. Steam and by extension the Steam Deck has cloud saving for all games in it's library. If you have games that aren't from a store that has cloud saving, you can also create your own solutions using a NAS or backup drives and software. Might take a bit more work, but it's not arbitrary which games are local saves only and you can actually transfer data to new systems when they brick even on local.
