About me. (Reasons why I could be a great friend/DNI/BYI)

Hello! I feel like I need to be super clear and specific when it comes to being my friend and I’d like to address some things to properly understand me.

Let us begin.

1. I’m really nice. Sure, sometimes, I get off around the edges but I hope you’re comfortable with that.
2. I’m geeky. So if you ever brought up something, I really would keep on asking about it.
3. I’ll never get tired of talking to you! That was the case with some of my friends.
4. I’ll try my best to make you laugh. Though some of my humor may not be funny to you.
5. I will value our friendship. I never had friends in real life so I hope you appreciate my efforts!

1. Racist, bigoted - Common sense. Racists are already not my friends to me. I don’t like it when people discriminate people by just their color or where they come from.

2. Weirdoes, creeps, people who exhibit stalker behavior - You should be aware that being creepy online is still harassment. 

3. Lolicons/shotacons - Okay, seriously, weirdoes and creeps pass here. Who seriously like kids in that manner? Please go away from me if you see a child, fictional or not, in that way.

4. Fujoshis or yuri fans that make it their entire lifestyle - I’m fine with people liking ships as long as there is a valid point of what they’re doing. What I HATE is that they make it their entire personality. Like every mention of that one certain character they ship with (let us take Madoka Kaname for example, a lot just associate her for being “Homura’s girlfriend” which pisses me off), they associate that character as: “this character’s girlfriend”, “this character’s boyfriend”. I don’t mind representation and I think it’s awesome you get to express yourself but oversaturating it to the point where you make it an entire personality is problematic for me.

5. Proshippers - Problematic relationships? Mentions of abuse? Yeah, I don’t think being friends with that is ethically acceptable.

6. Elitists - Basically people who thinks they’re superior just because they consume this one certain piece of media. Please stop acting like a jerk and let people enjoy what they like.

7. Bullies in general - I’m a victim of bullying. I’m not talking to someone who trolls, ragebaits or make a rise out of someone in the internet. 

8. Overly religious - I’m raised as Catholic. I don’t really follow my own religion as I used to when I was a kid, but to be more specific, I’m referring to religious people who just force their beliefs to everybody. 

9. Insensitive people - Please be mindful of what you say on the internet. 

1. My humor may not match as yours. If I have offended in you in all sorts of ways, it wasn’t my intention to do so and I apologize in advance.

2. Venting to me is okay, just ask for my permission. Please be respectful of my boundaries.

3. I’m emotionally sensitive. I’m somewhat emotional and prone to feeling empathy so hopefully you don’t intend to do anything that will betray my trust for you.

4. I like talking so much. I really, really, REALLY like talking to people online because I never got the chance to talk to people in real life because of my social anxiety. So I apologize if I’m a bit talkative. You can join my Discord server anytime! (Here: Join it if you want to!)

5. I’m SUPER vocal about my opinions. I hope you’d like to respect my opinions, I’m really honest about myself.

6. I will not hesitate to block anyone who just violates all of these. I am genuinely looking for friends and if you don’t take that seriously, I don’t see what’s wrong with blocking.
