in cigarettes out the window and lover's rock tv girl samples an old radio show from the 1940's called "Dangerously Yours". this radio show was put on by vick's vabo rub as a promotion for their company. every sunday, they would air a new story about love under dangerous circumstances.

the show performed really well, and i guess tv girl fell in love with it, as clips are featured in multiple songs.
