Shadow and Bone

the book series is ssoooooooo good and I'm not one for romance but the story and the universe its set in makes up for it, Alina is actually interesting and as much as I hate the way she keep switching up I do like her. Mal just pisses me off I'm not even talking about him. The end to the series is SO CUTE and an amazing way to end it after all the horrible shit that went down, the darkling is an amazing character because he actually had me clutching my head in rage and he wasn't completely one dimensional, he was shown as complex and still capable of feeling which I LOVE because there's nothing I hate more than an emo ass "I'm the bad boy" character. That being said the books were amazing (8/10), now imagine my dismay when I watched the show... Season 1 spoilers ahead. Tell me why I looked at the summary for the episodes and they were talking about some shit that didn't even happen in the books,, then as I was watching it I noticed there's a second storyline (or subplot idk) with these random GOONS that weren't at all mentioned in the books?? the MAIN STORY with Alina was in pieces, ACTUAL peices, it was missing massive amounts of context, scenes, and details that the book had and I didn't know what the hell was going on, the show is ass and I don't even want to watch the second season. there's only like 8 long ass episodes in the first season because they got rid of NECESSARY shit from the BOOKSSSSSSSS. DONT watch the show absolute fucken 1/10 the only good part is the casting and NOT because its at all how I imagined the characters but because mal is fucking cute and David is PERFECT I love David he's the only thing they did right.
