I've seen the sort of sh*t-show Twitter has become over the last year and decided I didn't want to be on there, so I started to migrate over with everyone else to Bluesky.
When I started using the app there was a fair bit of political stuff, you're usual "Trump bad" stuff. I personally agreed with some of those posts, but didn't want to see it ALL the time and I thought that it start to disappear as I liked more posts and followed more people.
Fast forward a couple more months and nothings changed. I've blocked all the key words, I've told them I'm not interested in any of it and they keep on shoving it in my face.
I can't like and follow any new people naturally because all I get is stupid political posts about the latest Trump fumble, and how Elon made this new robot that smacks you in the face or something stupid. I DON'T EVEN LIVE IN AMERICA. LEAVE ME ALONE.
Safe to say I don't like it that much.

tbh im so used to seeing politics on social media that it never really occurred to me how much bluesky pushes trump related posts even though i dont interact with them much at all. I dont even follow any news organizations or anything but i literally just checked and the first post on my feed is a paragraph about trump....... YEAH WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT?
