sometimes reading fanfic is just a would you rather between the most moving and perfect fic you could ever imagine, but it is 2/3 finished and hasn't been updated in three years, OR a 40 chapter long completed fic with a cool concept but the writing is slightly giving middle schooler.

what do we value, truly; a rewarding experience or closure? the journey or the destination?
