The other day, I messaged a family friend about going for a drive. The fault of iMessages delayed him getting the message. We could have went on Thursday, but we went driving yesterday. We’re going to gradually practice until I can get my driver’s license. Soo relaxing to drive, honestly. I really want my driver’s license before I get a job because it SUCKS RELYING ON OTHERS TO TAKE ME TO AND FROM WORK. I HATE IT. Having to wait in the lobby.
I have a nice car gotten from Facebook marketplace, from over a year ago… Was it a year ago? IDK. Something like that. When getting cars for my brother and me my dad looked for back cameras. My car is a ford. It has rotational doors so you don’t have to worry about them coming down and whamming you.
I truly do think this is a big step to my independence and self-image. I won’t think of myself as a little kid. Other people may not be prone to thinking that. Excited. Grateful. Tomorrow I’ll go for another ride.
Again, as I stated in a previous post, if you’re roughly sixteen years old don’t be afraid to learn to drive. You’ll probably regret it and have FOMO years down the line. I think about all the missed opportunities I had due to not driving as a minor. Kinda feel blue reading books or watching stuff with kids driving DX Gotta think on the positive side of things… I’m not pregnant and I’m not committed to anything. I’ll have my fun someday (-;
