My personal thoughts abt gyaru rn

(dw I did my research, and yes i'll be typing like this bc i'll be making this blog public TwT)

Being gyaru in the philippines

<3 Ngl, it takes a lot of guts and confidence to be walking around in public being gyaru, espiecially in a country like mine. Last week I was shopping in the mall with my mom, I got tons of stares but thats oki cuz I've had MANY embarrassing moments b4 lol, but this is the first time that it didn't felt embarrassing AT ALL. It felt heavy at first when I left the house looking like that but i slowly gained confidence after I ate some Jollibee as a quick snack before we started shopping(Jollibee was and is my fav). I gotta say that there are limited gyaru stuff in my area(we also dont have hot topic) so most gyaru would order online, go to thrift stores, or handmake stuff if they were in my shoes but there's a much bigger problem than that, some gyaru clothing/shoes/accesories r kinda pricey and they mostly aren't sold in bulk so you'd probably want to handmake/sew the stuff and get creative. My grandma taught me how to sew clothes using the sewing machine 3 days ago but i have short term memory and an attention span of a goldfish sooo, i kinda forgot a few stuff.

What I think every gal should be aware of

<3 Being gal/gyaru isn't a fashion style/aesthetic/fandom but a lifestyle, and the history of gyaru is about rebelling against society's standards with a fun atmosphere(I'll talk abt that in another blog 4 now hehehe), it's also apart of alt fashion. It's completely normal to be judged at cuz that's the whole point of it, and if you can't handle being judged/critised, then gyaru isn't meant for you. You shouldn't force ppl to be gyaru, unless they rlly WANT to become gal(I brought this up bc most kogyaru are forced to be gyaru by their parents, I got this info from another gal, btw kogyaru are gal's that are under 13yrso). Some gals know how to parapara while some don't and that's oki, parapara is a japanese synchronized dance style with eurobeat music on, parapara mostly shows gals/gyaru/gyaruo(male gyaru) dancing to it, and its pretty much the key aspect of shaping gyaru, some gals or gyarusa(gal circles) dance to parapara today. Being gal costs very expensive stuff that you have to pay for from shoes to hair and maybe even you have to gyaru-fy your own house!(like i said, it is a lifestyle Lol xd)

Conclusion

<3 Yes unfortunately, this is the end of the blog abt "my thoughts abt gyaru rn", i made this blog specifically bc I had tons of gyaru stuff to talk abt in my gal head lately and i honestly don't want to annoy tf out of my friends Lmao. And this is my first blog so if you think it's unorganised plz cut me some slack :P LOL. EggY0lk out.

(Thats pretty much it for this blog, and all of the stuff that i could think abt and squeeze out of my gal brain. Ik i used some gyaru terms/slang in this blog that you might not know, but i promise to discuss abt them again on another future blog. Thats it 4 noww baiii!!<3)
