Took a nature walk

Today I decided to take a chill day and Im glad i did it was very nice. After working in the office, I went outside kinda spontaneously and walked all the way across campus to a woodsy area where it is usually secluded. I walked, no headphones, and the loud gusts of wind with the sounds of birds sprinkled set the ambiance for me as I sat on a random (slightly broken) marble bench. I spent time contemplating about mostly nothing. Sometimes, some random thoughts would sift through, but for the most part I sat and just observed the various birds in the sky and the old trees as they'd move against the wind. 

I would post photos but it seems like every image hosting site I try doesn't seem to work anymore. anyway, the rock I found may seem like nothing, but it really called out to me. Such a perfect rock I HAD to keep it. I'm going to see if I can carve something on it for fun (and good luck). The other stuff was something I found from a kind of seed "pouch" (not sure what it's called but they often fall from trees). They were enclosed in it and I found them there and what seemed like a sap (it smelled pretty good not going to lie). 

No reason why I picked this stuff up other than that they feel nice in my hands and they look cool I guess. I think I'm going to go back to that place and make it my chill spot (maybe even play guitar there because I get really nervous playing in the house with my roommates).
