The Swings Knew What I Couldn’t Say 🥀💔

On wEdn3sDaY I fought w my best friend... her name is Val. 💔🥁
It all started bc she’s a drummer & I’m a multi-instrumentalist (remember that, it’s important lol). So that day, she didn’t go 2 school bc she was sick, & guess what? The music club teacher fOrCeD us 2 form a band. 🎸🔪

A guy named Baruk wouldn’t stop bothering me 2 join his band. & since eVeRyOnE was watching, I felt pressured, so... I said yes. BIG MISTAKE. ☠️💀

Lat3r tht afternoon, Val found out… & she was d!sappo!nted AF. 😞 We had promised 2 be in a band 2gether, but since she wasn’t there, everything just… happened. I swear I didn’t mean 2 betray her. But yeah, she was mad.

Fast forward 2 Friday, she finally came back 2 school. We don’t even have the same classes, but omg it was so obvious she was avoiding me. 😓💔 Sayu (who btw is now her new bff???) was kinda our “therapist” but separately.

After class, we all went 2 a park near school. I felt horrible. I kept overthinking EVERYTHING. My brain just wouldn’t shut up. So I tried distracting myself by singing... 🎶😞

Then... everyone walked away 4 a bit, & Val sat next 2 me on the swings. Silence. Just us, sharing apple slices. 🍏💔

I wanted 2 say "Sorry." I rly did. But I felt like if I opened my mouth, I’d start crying... So we just sat there. & somehow, words just started flowing naturally. We didn’t force anything, & it was okay. In the end, I walked her 2 her bus stop & we hugged.

I was terrified of losing my best friend bc of something so stupid... & I still am. 😞🖤
