[ W.i.P. ] FoTH - Ordem Paranormal Campaign

hellooo hii, welcome to van's lore updates !

as a warning this is extremely outdated, but hey at least y'all know the plot partially. of course we ( the dm and i possibly ) intend on making this into a comic. if you'd like to see that stick around :3

im west and van is character i play in my very first participation on an rpg.
for information of those knowledgable or curious, we are following Ordem Paranormal's unfortunately its in portuguese but if i find an english version i'll add it here !!
but its way of playing, includes getting beaten up every session and loosing sanity

i'll be telling this story in the perspective of van mostly 

so please don't be annoyed if the other rpg memebers aren't mentioned as much

i'll be telling this story by sessions and by relevance of events and  there may also be random

 timejumps or awkward times cause i simply can't recall all +50h 

of roleplay that we have had so far, so some sessions might be full on wattpad material, while others is a resume

Session I

it's the first day of classes, in a univesity in california. students from all places meet eachother and head to their classes. in the main corridor van is walking as he crosses paths with a shorter guy with a green mohawk and so many piercings he had to doublecheck to make sure they didn't multiply. The green haired guy was kyle,  and he accidentally tripped and went against van ( 19/20 ), van manages to keep himself on his feet ( 20/20 ) but obviously looks surprised at kyle. there was a girl besides kyle, about kyle's height, timid looking. This was Matilde.

Their interaction is interrupted by a commotion mid corridor where a short blonde guy is being bothered by a pick-me girl called jessica and jockswho didn't like that the blonde guy had a dog. This blonde guy is Henry and the dog was Pitu, Van tries to step in and peacefully stop this but unfortunaly is sent to the directory with henry and jessica. in the way to the directory van sees how pissed off henry is and comments "seems like the dog is more composed than the owner", which henry looks at van with a side glance and murmurs "you're lucky you're bigger than me."



talks with matilde and kyle at lunch and then goes with them to the library since they have a free afternoon.

maltilde finds camera in the bathroom during pe class
also listens to music from a poster due to a symbol and she listens to a song that feels like a majorly beating heart

Henry does not come with them since he went for pizzas. when they enter the library each goes to fetch a book, matilde for fantasy, kyle for comic books and van just wanders around. Matilde picks up a book that transforms into another book called "memento mori" which tells the story of their dead teacher along with all of their trauma until it reaches the end. everyone in that library had disappeared, it was quiet, then they hear the sand falling out of an hourglass,
 their time is counted

they all close the book when time hits zero.

Session II

When the time reaches zero, all of them have a moment of clarity with their memories,  Whatever it was it has picked which story to end and van, unluckily , was the chosen one. Van began bleeding from eyes, screaming in agony, begging it to stop. On that moment the library door bursts open Henry arrives, having heard screams although he's far and screaming on top of his lungs he manages to call van back to reality and break him out of the haze saving him from death

( on the last round too )


The monster appears, tall and disgusting with what seems like bug legs on its stomach and a massive hat.

It was the storyteller

Seeing they don't really know what the hell this is they make the run for the doors, the library as a set of two entrances, meaning you have a door and then right after theres another door. they run for the frist door and it is locked. Kyle and Van being the strongest of the four so far body slam the door open, when they reach the second door they try as hard as they can but simply can't. the storyteller inching closer.

Kyle has an idea, he has been to the library before and remebers the windows on the security room are easier to break, so he makes the run for the security room but the storyteller shows up infront of him ready to attack. Luckily by some goddamn change two dudes, around their 30's-40's show up. One short, holding a katana ( Paul ) and one taller, holding a sword and shield ( William ).Matilde and Van take the chance that the door was open to make the run for it. William makes the run to save kyle but gets one shot'ed by the storyteller ( 1HP for William rn ) his guts bursting out of his body and he gets shot cross the corridor. With the storyteller distracted with William, Kyle also makes the run to leave the library. Inside remains Paul, William and Henry, Paul enters the fight acting as bait for the storyteller holding it back. While henry runs to help william escape.

Luckily everyone manages to escape, but right at the exit everyone passes out except paul

Session III

3 days later they wake up at a military base, are recruted, trained and receive their weapons

then are called back to the library to save a girl ( kaori )

they use a special knife to break the doors curse and keep it open

when they enter they enter they see the storyteller holding the girl in the middle of the library
van and matilde comment to eachother "its pretty smash-able"


then william finds the book ( memento mori ) that paralyzes the storyteller and it begins melting away his arm

kyle without thinkig picks up his hammer and tries hitting the beast only for it to be innefective, matilde also tries shooting it, also failing

henry takes the book from william and takes psychological damage

william takes the chance to grab kaori and make the run for it

the knife that held the door open is removed by a man with a hood and a wicked smile


matilde and william went down to try and break a window there while kyle and van went to the window on the security room


Takeshi ( bounty hunter ) enters through the front door unnoticed


when william arrived to his window he intead of using the sword to smash it open, uses his shield, failing miserably making a small hole on the wall, while holding kaori. matilde also arrived, as soon as she arrived takeshi flies across and slams against the wall and making a whole. william

in the other kyle arrives first at the window and tries smashing it open with his hammer, hitting the window with the dryest * thunk * and barely cracking it. van immediatly arrives after and in a fit of adrenaline uses his hammer to smash the window open and hopping out. as soon as he lands kyle immediatly lands on top of van

Session IV

Session V

van's half of the team, composed by matilde, kyle, van and henry


they go on their assigned mission, kill 4 radioactive bugs lmao
kyle gets scratched on his face
matilde almost dies with her throat split open trying to call van

Session VI

we returned to the base and receive a mission to go to a disco ( yikes the disco mission )

Session VII

we fight beast, van is shaking by what he saw ( 2 san ) shaking like a madman
we win yay
mike backstory about being forced to be a woman
william story about how he was a basketball player
miguel kills the boss that had 1 health with the capoeira song "troca as mãos pelos pés, os pés pelas mãos"

kyle almost dies, but says fuck you to the storyteller and comes back
van gets a cool new axe from miguel's unwanted gift

( van's current physical state for the curious )

Session IX

chaos that hasn't hapenned yet

they all head to william's house to talk about what should they do
they call the enigma through the tv

they go to the library, van and miguel enter first a bit scared doing even a bit of like "we go in together ok?"

they enter and william picks up a book to throw at the sand hourglass the beats appears and a fight begins
van gets suffocated almost to death
mike saves him with mouth to mouth
van saves mike with seed


they all get to henry's home and take shower
mike makes van food cause they're both vegan

Session X

they're at Henry's house
its christmas yuppii
they all exchange and van hands a letter for everyone, more specifically confesses to mike
they all play "i never" and they all get drunk 

william hands henry handcuffs before blacking out

mike blacks out and kaori takes mike but she also falls drunk. matilde soon follows tohelp but she doesn't have the strenght to lift them. Van, 13 drinks deep decides to help and blacks out when he arrives

Miguel then puts everyone on somewhere comfortable 

Henry decides to handcuff mike to a bed and lay kaori down on the bed on the side

then he leaves the room and the bell rings. he goes outside and sees a man dressed up as santa and asks him what he wants for christmas, henry thinks a bit but before he answers he gets punched by santa and blacks out too
( absolute genius )

Miguel eventually blacks out too with 18 drinks

they all get called for a war happening in 31st Dec. '24 ( henry's b'day btw )
