Concept Art #1: Mizuki Akiyama (Project Half Blood AU)

Today, I'm starting a new portfolio on my blog: concept arts and reference sheets! One of my favorite parts of the art process is getting to brainstorm and create designs for my artworks, such as when I designed Luka's outfit back in this drawing. One such place I have gotten the honor to do this for is a Discord server called Project Half Blood! It's a Project Sekai AU server based around the Percy Jackson series of novels. I was in charge of designing Mizuki Akiyama, who in this AU is a Camp Half Blood member born to Aphrodite. I tried to make it a perfect blend between the casual fashion from the Percy Jackson movies and Mizuki's fashionista sense. I think it's a neat design I came up with! (P.S: I forgot to tweak her legs when I flipped over for the back view ksdjfksjjfddsfds screw my stupid baka life)
