For much needed context, we are a self-diagnosed system with at least 15 alters currently. This post is coming from the host. I've tried to tell my parents about our system but they brush it off, even when seeing it stated on our social media. But thats not my entire reasoning for wanting less time with my dad.
My parents got divorced in 2017 when I was 9 years old. It started in the worst way possible. My dad tried to say goodbye, and my mom took off in the van with my siblings and I in it, and my dad hanging onto the open door for him to lose his grip and fall into the rocky, concrete sidewalk. After, my dad really stopped doing anything on his own. Cooking, cleaning, getting up to grab drinks or throw away trash.
He's still like this. I'm 15 and I cook, clean, go out for food and drinks, and now since he's got a dog, I'm cleaning up after her too. My father does nothing even years later. I was 9 and cooking dinners nightly on weekends. I still do. I'm not even allowed to speak out against it either. It's gotta be his way. My emotions on the subject don't matter. He also yells a shit ton when nobody "listens" despite it being a trigger to a switch.
He still buys me things when I ask, but that doesn't make up for everything, especially when he also wastes his money for no good reason.
My uncle once asked me "if you didn't have to go, would you?"
I'd feel guilty if I said no, but in truth I know it's the answer. Am I the asshole here?

nta, ur not the one who drove the car so ngl i think ur mom should attone if anything. the only thing i wasnt sure about is the uhh system ? like why mention it, so i asked an expert and this is what they said:
"but when did they get it tho u can only get those system shit when u r under 6"
i said "i think 9"
"hmm im not sure if thats possible DID or those mental illness only happen when u r under 6
it may be another mental illness or they r wrong
after all its self-diagnosed,if we talking about DID n stuff its the best to get a diagnosed"

Your dad made all of your little lives so if anything, you should be repaying him 15x back, especially after you all paralyzed your own father in that car accident. How dare y'all. If I was one of you alters, I would've turned that car around immediately and ran him over into the ground for raising such a fat failure, and I'm assuming ALL of you are fat, since I KNOW all of you are already failures. (━┳━｡ Д ｡━┳━)
Also, question for OP: do you have 15 alters because you are 15 years old, or because you sped 15 above the speed limit while driving away from your dad, instead of helping him? (๑´• .̫ •ू`๑) I bet seven of those are the seven deadly sins, while the other 8 are part of the LSKRBEIO+... #UNHOLY

(not protecting not dissing an alter rn) i genuinelly dont think you owe your parents anything, unless idk its in the bible? you know that more than me, but parents chose to have kids so i dont think kids should help their parents if they dont want to. anyway the way you worded things was rly funny

To answer your question, YES, I would say the same thing if they weren't an alter, because I don't judge the LGTJGWODW+ community, I only shame those kinds of fillies! ʚ(╹ڡ╹)ɞ The Bible does state to Love and Honor your parents, because they are technically your second god, so as I said earlier if I was one of their alters, I'd be doing them a favor by turning the car and running over my father, because he should not bear the sin of a disgusting amalgamation of a child/children... ╥﹏╥ Imagine how much sex before marriage all of those alters are having, and not all of them are being married by church, that is 15+ more sinners than needed into the world, and they are all in one body! ʕ ಡ ﹏ ಡ ʔ They should be exercised out of the body to save the poor child trapped in the vessel, because 1 sinner is better than 15! ^(#｀∀´)_ Ψ････・･†_(ﾟｰﾟ*)β
