So, I watched kill bill for the first time the other day and I thought it was a pretty good film for what it was trying to be- I just have a few questions for mr. feetgeek:
1. Really? the feet shit?
2. Why did vivica fox, the only other person of color in the film, get killed off so early on and why did her character basically get brushed over with no care for giving her any form of interesting/engaging exposition or backstory? actually, why is *her* character the character the film opens on uma thurman's character killing, when her character wasn't even the one uma thurman ACTUALLY killed first?
after vivica fox gets killed, the movie goes on to give an elaborate backstory behind the first kill on the list, Lucy Liu's character, and illustrates to us how the main character managed to kill her, but Vivica fox's character doesn't even get anything close to that luxury. it's very strange to me, and a strange application of a character into a story in general.
3. You missed the opportunity to have a really funny bad voice over bit at some point in the film.
I'd give it a 7/10, my favorite film by this freak is still from dusk till dawn for far! I'm currently watching kill bill vol. 2, lets see how the story continues!
