Back from my biking trip to McDonald’s

TWW// EMETOPHOBIA WARNING

Welp. I did it. I didn’t time myself all the way but it took me 36 minutes to get to McDonald’s by the time I reached the bottom of my neighborhood’s hill. Then it took me an 1 hour 12 minutes to get back home. I dreaded the way back… For good reason. Barely got to eat the McFlurry because I ordered it to go and was worried it’d be impolite to eat it in the restaurant *FACEPALM* Then as I carried my way home I kept running into issues… Bag kept ripping open. Fries went out the window. Eventually I dropped the McFlurry :,c So I pocketed the two burgers I got and threw the rest in a garbage can.

My bike’s chain kept having an issue by coming off. So that’s why it took me over an hour getting back home. Oh yeah I’m totally bringing my backpack when I go on another one of these trips. Looking into getting a mirror for my bike and a cup holder(?) Oh and locks. May just invest in a whole new bike.

I biked there because I don’t have a driver’s license *FACEPALM.* Listen to my words, you youngins out there (if you’re approaching sixteen or are sixteen)… WORK TOWARDS GETTING YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE. Think of all the fun you’re missing out by not having a car. Imagine coming close to nineteen and having to rely on people to drive you to and from work… It SUCKS. It must be FREEING to have a job. Wish I could go back in time and beat my past self stupid for not trying hard enough, but there’s no point in dwelling in the past. You’ll never go back in time. Just gotta focus on the here and now!

My hands are soo ashy from messing with that chain. Searched up on YouTube how to fix a bike chain that keeps coming off. Thank you, commenter under video… “just make sure your chain is straight and tight simple” I mean it. I wish I had a straightforward way of thinking and explaining. If you have it, it’s a gift. Maybe a part of you will want to say, “well, it’s not all sunshine and games! My emotional intelligence is bad!” Who am I kidding, you’re probably not thinking about that XD Take it from someone who has disorganized way of thinking and is ALSO bad with emotions and people. Not fun! DX

GAWD, I really love cycling. I love my neighborhood. I can easily listen to music while going around. Obviously when I was biking outside of the neighborhood I wasn’t vibing to music. I was on full watch. I’ve never traveled that far via bike before… It’s exhilarating. Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up early and bike to the Goodwill that’s closer to me than McDonald’s was… I was having my doubts about it because of the streets… It’s probably safer, anyway! Another thing I may do is head on down to the town plaza and get a new debit card since I lost my old one and a new library card since it expired for some reason!

Not to bring up the calories I must have burneddd! I really needed this exercise after I spent all day in bed like a helpless Victorian child because I got FOOD POISONING. The past two days I was vomiting my GUTS OUT. Actually… Technically most of it was just bile. I couldn’t drink my fave drink (WATER, AGUA) because I kept throwing it back out. I didn’t eat anything yesterday. The worst part was early Sunday morning, ‘cuz that’s when I kept puking… I vomitted one last time at, what, 8 P.M? And then I was free. I was scared. I didn’t know what TF was happening to me… Didn’t take into account the EXPIRED food I had consumed (didn’t look at the expiration date, got locked out of the house for some time)… When it dawned upon me, it felt like heaven. I’m not permanently sick. Yay!!! Now I’m not sick at all.

Anyway I’m going to ride a lap or two around my neighborhood before calling it quits! Later G8ers B)

I would love to ride a bike around my area! Only thing is the bike I have is a cruiser, and it'll take me AGES for me to get from point A to point B. Could you tell me what type of bicycle you have? Like a cruiser, road, hybrid, mountain, etc? I'm looking into a new bike myself, and wondered what type would be good for getting around town casually.
