Hate posting incoming but, MAN it sucks being an older sibling.
I'm sure it's diffrent for others, but I think I might actually hate my little brother. Dislike at the least. Of course there are times we get along, but the times we don't it sucks. Especially since I'm older and my needs are lower than his, which means I usually have to stuck it up.
The way he's just gets consumed by his rage, always has to be on top of everything, always has to react to everything, has to have the last word— it's so ANNOYING.
And he always tries so bad to be in the right, even when he knows he's wrong (at least I'd hope so) Always 'but he—' 'but she–'
I'm actually so ashamed of him when we have to be in the same public space. We're on a group trip rn, and I've had multiple people my age come up to me and tell me that he's bothering them.
God, there are times I wanna just snap his neck. I'll never actually end up doing it (probably). But I'm for sure cutting him off.
Reminder to try and keep contact as brief as possible with him.

i relate a lot. what keeps me going is to remind myself how terrible i was at their age and that they’re still learning how to be a person. if not today, they will learn the consequences eventually; wether it be naturally or through punishment. sometimes people just have a harder time learning how to be a good person, but just give them some grace since they still have yet to experience as much as you :-)
i dont wanna invalidate how youre feeling though. its so fucking unfair and i feel you man. atleast it isnt forever
