♡ project rambles!!

hi hello!!

i've been trying to think of a blog entry topic, but not much is happening in my life right now. so i might as well ramble about my projects!

my current big project is working on all of my socials - mostly youtube. i've always wanted to become a youtuber ever since i was a little kid! my channel will focus on art and storytelling but i wanna throw in some gaming too. i have my first video idea, so all i have to do is film and edit!... if only. i have a few things to do before that. i have to finish creating all of my assets (overlays, sprites, etc), i have to draw channel art (like my pfp and banner,) AND i have to clean off my desk to get it ready for working. luckily i'm almost done all of the necessary assets, so things are moving along quicker.

one other project that's kinda been set to the back burner is my webcomic. it's still so so early in development so i'm not too concerned with getting it started. i'm mostly working on fleshing characters out, outlining the events, fixing complications (before they get too insane), etc. usually i make characters and THEN give them a story, but i now realize that i should do it the other way around - atleast for a semi-serious project.

last project i'm currently doing.... finally giving my OCs designs and reference sheets!! my toyhouse is filled with blank characters who are nothing but small concepts plaguing my brain. im only concepting designs for right now, but once i'm done/close to being done i'll start on everyone's reference sheets and other "official art". not only am i giving these blank characters designs, i'm also fleshing out their personalities and lore!

those may seem like a lot of projects and possible stress, which.... yeah it is BUT i love doing all of these things. i like the feeling of doing work and accomplishing things, only when it's something i'm passionate about. all of these things bring me joy, no matter how much i complain! ...okay i'm done rambling now!
