Seriously, why

There was a girl in my school on the other day who saw me drawing in the library, and she asked me do I like drawing and ofc I said yes, and that's her interest too, later we had a bit of conversation about what uni/college we want to go in, at the end of our conversation she asked do I have Instagram or discord for contact, since I don't have Instagram so I gave her my discord id, she didn't immediately add my discord tho probably because my username might quite long for her, but ITS BEEN A MONTH, I still haven't received any request on discord (I seriously don't give a damn about getting a partner since this world is not on shortage of selfish hypocrites in fact there too many of them, especially some adults who like suck on someone's advantage till dried. Plus relationships only drags me down, gooning is better).


I'm not really sad about it since I dont know her in the first place, my question is, what's wrong with people in real life like that girl, like bruh I'm so confused, and I felt weird, in a bad way, so bad it reminds me that I have to be cautious every time I some stranger talks to me actively

I'm not severely anti-social or hate talking to people, it just makes me uncomfortable every time people ask for my contact in real life and do nothing with it
