Arcane thoughts and stuff

Okay so starting off, I feel like not enough people understand the fact that Violet also has hallucinations,,, like,, canonically. We see her have them in times when she needs comfort and it seems to be something that she has had for a while and understands that Powder/Jinx has them, based on how she reacts her her outburst the first time they see each other as adults.

Vi hallucinates Caitlyn as her mother, Vander during the fight with Sevika, and Caitlyn during her time in the pits. All of these happen when she needs comfort or advice. And i think this is why people don’t understand the fact that she as a schizoaffective disorder her hallucinations are always positive and comforting, and most people think that schizophrenic hallucinations are negative or scary, when this isn’t true all of these time, as it differs from person to person. Jinx’s hallucinations are a lot more negative, i believe, due to her not having a stable environment or outlook on the world in her formative years. And while Vi was also not in the best of places when she was young, she was actively being mentored by Vander, and still remembered how her mother raised her.

These influences that she had as a child, and ideas that were fed to her, led to her hallucinations not being as malicious as Powder's. Powderly was raised by Vi for the most part, her acting as her mother after the death of their parents. An while Vi was a good person, she was not fit to raise her sister as she was still a child, though the tried her best. It doesn’t help that due to having seemed to develop Borderline Personality Disorder due to all of the trauma she endured as a child. I say Borderline as she seems to fit the diagnosis criteria and the cause criteria (witnessing violence, abandonment, all sorts of general childhood trauma, and seeming to have a genetic disposition to mental illness if Violet also has a sort of mental illness/ disorder). I believe that Vi has Schizoaffective bipolar disorder type 2 (depressive states more than manic)
