new pfp + more

Soooooo, today I finally made some progress on my Spacehey page. I finished the page background and my new pfp!! I hope it looks as good as I think it does because I spent an ungodly amount of time on it and I really don't want it to go to waste ಥ‿ಥ.

Anyways, quick update on the website: I've started a bunch of pages over because I didn't like the way they were looking, so now I've gotta delay its release by another two weeks. Which isn't an issue: nobody's waiting for it anyway. On one hand, it kinda sucks, but on the other, it takes a lot of pressure off my shoulders and gives me as much time as I need to really get the website looking cool and nice. I swear, all the effort will be worth it!!

My main issue is probably developing the visual assets and anything requiring J*vascript. The problem with the visuals is that I work veeeeery slowly when it comes to drawing, and something as simple as a background can take me hours if not days. Making my Spacehey is already gonna be a pain in the arse so I don't wanna imagine just how gruelling the website is gonna be. But I guess I should hope for the best.

But the problem with JS is that... Well, it's JS. Anyone who has ever worked with it knows just how difficult it is to use. Yes, you structured the function right, and yes, you've got all the semicolons in place, but you've positioned your cursor wrong and Venus is in retrograde therefore none of your shit is gonna work. It makes me wanna pull my hair out of my scalp. I'd do ANYTHING to never touch JS again, but, alas, it's not meant to be. Try to sell another 5 hours of my life to Satan and Stack Overflow in search of solutions.
