i honestly have no idea why the internet hates it so much? like i dont know at its absolute worst its a 5/10 for me >.<
i think i actually kinda liked it though, i wasnt very big on edward tbh but i liked his family and thought the ending was sweet, i may have to rewatch it sometime though because i had to pause half way through, one of my cats saw some other cat outside and they wouldnt stop meowing at each other so i had to go see what was going on
but like yeah, id probably give it a 7/10 maybe? i think that sounds right :3

I feel liek most ppl don't liek the twilight movies bc they're confused while watching it which is valid since the movies leave out *so much* from the books
The main examples I bring up r how bella had a job in the books and jaspers ability
In new moon iirc bella gets a job at a sporting goods store w mike newton ,,
Then in eclipse's adaptation there's only 1 line in the beginning that brings up jaspers ability and that's it
His ability influenced the baseball scene from the 1st movie so much but it's just cut out ,,

honestly i think MY main problem with the twilight franchise is that they dont really do much vampire stuff throughout the series and the handling of really any type of folklore type creature is COMPLETELY different from usual. it just kinda feels to me like "high school drama but with superpowers" i can still understand the appeal of the series for others though

Same! I watched it about a year ago and honestly I really enjoyed it. The whole thing with Edward watching her sleep is weird, but because I didn't have high expectations, I didn't take it that seriously. Even those awkward scenes are kind of entertainig. And the colour grading and music are just dreamlike

valid, Twilight is one of those guilty pleasure movies for me. It's so bad it's good
i think guilty pleasure movie is the best way to describe how i feel about it actually :>
still though, from what ive heard i was kinda expecting it to be awful, so i was surprised i actually had a good time watching it :)
