Took a morning walk today, 28 degrees of bitter cold but the sun is shining and I was photosynthesizing better than any of those fuck ass plants. Walked by a pigeon at a distance of six feet, I don't know if the pigeon was immunocompromised but i didn't wanna take the chance what with covid in big 2025 so i kept a respectful distance. My chivalry must've spooked him cause he launched from the ground and busted a U-turn towards my head causing me to flinch pretty hard, but it was an understandable flinch seeing as the bird flew three feet away from my head which is a respectable distance, it wasn't four feet because why would anyone flinch at a bird flying that far away from your head. Definitely three feet, otherwise that would have looked ridiculous to anyone else taking a morning walk. "That idiot does not understand pigeon distancing mechanics!" they'd all say. i thought I did everything correct with the pigeon.
Why did he do that?
