Yuri on ice:cancellation theory

On april 19th 2024 , Yuri on ice:Ice Adolensence movie was offically cancelled after 7 years of production hell, I have a personal theory for its cancellation and i think its because of the many ips they have on their plate, many of them manage to become even much more of a bigger success than the gay figure skating anime. I feel like they have too much on their plate to focus on the movie as a whole and honestly i wouldnt even be surpised if it's what leads to the studio's downfall.

Another theory that isnt related to the cancellation is that i think the other shareholders who have the ip would most likely sell it way to another studio if its possible enough.
