i mean i'm not married. i am in a long-term relationship (6 years this november) but we're not married yet because we are genuinely lazy. we've been engaged for a couple of years and idk, i guess there was some good stuff in here. i dunno. i think part of my personality that i got from my father is that i don't like people telling me what to do, and self-help books always make me feel like they're telling me what to do. because like, they are.

and of course, yeah, communication is great for every relationship ever. like, always, relationship is going to do it for you. but i just... i dunno. it was fine? i'm reading a lot of "just fine" books at this point. i dunno. the book wall is huge but like... how much of it is quality? why did i buy more books yesterday? were they even good books? ah god DAMN it
