Anime con - part 2 [con report]

YIPPEEEEEEEE CON REPORT TIME!!!

Day 1

Day 1 I went as a non-canon/casual KAITO partially inspired by his Cyber Cat module!!

I'm the worst at getting photos at cons so all I have is a transit photo... but a lot of people said I looked cool which made me SO HAPPY!!!!

I got recognized a few times but I also got mistaken for Sonic a lot which didn't bother me too too much cuz I'm also a Sonic cosplayer XD

I was fighting with this wig the whole weekend though since I was giving myself like 10 minutes to get dressed each day LOL not enough time...

my important duties were #1 cheerleader/handler for idol friends ╰(*°▽°*)╯

after 3 performances we left at around 5pm after a short walk around artist alley/vendors hall which is unheard of for us but it was eepy time!!!!

Day 2 AM

Day 2 I went as the KAITO in a full VBS group for a performance!!

A photographer got a few photos of me, but I don't really like how I looked... (TヘT)

my friend (the MEIKO in the group) brought an iron to try to wrangle my wig before we performed though (;▽;)

the performance was a ton of fun!!! <3

we tried to get photos of KAITO and MEIKO after the performance but there wasn't enough time before the next performance so we'll try to get them soon :3

Day 2 PM

after a quick change into Ouji outfit Timer and my friends into their performance costumes, disaster struck....

right before we were going to begin setup one of my friends offered me some of her strawberry perfume, and I agreed cuz it smelt yummy and fruity (✿◕‿◕✿)

.....................................................................except....I'm allergic to strawberries....

during the introductions I started feeling really sick and my wrists and arms were swelling a bunch and it was really really painful, so I got the other handler of the live and we scooted outside the stage to the bathroom to try and rinse my arms ヽ(*。>Д<)o゜

my strawberry allergy has only gotten worse in the past while so it was my first time having a topical reaction like this, I thought only ingesting strawberries would give me a reaction but it was a very stupid mistake......

the rinsing helped but it was still extremely painful so my friend called the first aid staff and they brought some proper cleaning solution and I was SAVED

thankfully the live wasn't over yet so I still got to see half of my friend's performance AND THEY DID AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! o(*°▽°*)o

after the live my friend got a selfie of us, but I didn't fix my outfit and wig very well after my emergency oopsies!!

we left at 5pm again for our post-live dinner tradition :3

on the way there one of my friends asked what happened?? was it strawberries again >:(

Day 3 AM

Day 3 was Decora day!!!!!

We got there early to do a full go through of the Artist Alley/Vendors hall when it wouldn't be busy

So many people complimented my outfit everyone was so nice!!!! .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. (/≧▽≦)/

I took some photos of my friend's EVE cosplays :3

I was a little nervous waiting for my panel cuz my hand was very inflamed from yesterday meaning I could barely move my fingers so I wasn't going to be able to dance, plus some of my friends in the performance weren't going to make it either, so I thought we would have to cancel the performance, but another idol group volunteered to perform at my panel last second ??!!

Day 3 PM

It was finally time for my panel!!!

It was the final panel of the con... TwT

It was my first time doing something like this and I was SOOOO nervous but I think it went OK thanks to my friends, the attendees, and everyone who helped out!!!
