I've got a 8inch Braille deck, some trucks from a Girl complete board, and Spitfire F4 52mm wheels. The whole thing is sticker bombed I love it.
I want to use spitfire, I have a tattoo of the logo on my arm but their parts here in Brazil are very expensive

It's a complete from flip. 7.8 inch board. My dad gifted it to me 'cuz i asked him to teach me 'cuz he also skates :3
damnn 7.8 i never see this, its good to flip because it is lighter

Yeahh, I also don’t see ppl w under 8. tbh. But I think it suits me pretty well, feels good, i got good control over it. I once rode a 8.5 from a school acquaintance and it was lowkey too big for me. And his trucks were lowkey way too loose for me but that’s another story lolzz

You're doing it right, first the basics then flips. I recommend learning switch/nollie now. I skipped this part at the beginning and today I send few switch and nollie tricks

XDDD at first it's really annoying, it's totally strange even for me who's been skating for a few years, but it's a lot of progressing base, fakie, nollie and switch together. It helps a lot!11!
