i think this is honestly the worst richard laymon book i've ever read: not that richard laymon has ever been like, GOOD, but man mostly even when he sucks he's fun? like, blood games? so bad. so fun. the cellar? so bad. so fun.

dark mountain?

SO. BORING. not even ridiculous in a fun way. like, okay, we just keep sexually assaulting people and getting whacked with hatchets. there was some grossness in the beginning that made me think it would be fun, with this lady eating hair and stuff, but it did not pay off. man. the disappointment has never been more real.
