Ho, listen well and listen clearly cause I’ll only say this once. Your view of a perfect world is not the reality we’re living in so stop deluding yourself into believing everyone is treated equally and that minorities are receiving “advantages” for some rigged reason that you can’t seem to comprehend. Therefore, making YOU, the white straight male in your made-up scenario, the victim. The world is more complex than simply 1+1=2. It’s more like 2^1 = 1^2, where minorities are forced to do 2^1 amount of work in hopes of receiving the same opportunities as their counterpart white male coworkers who do 1^2 amount of work. Which is why these small “rigged” advantages are put in place to try and help balance the equation to make it somewhat 2^1 – 1=1^2, in which 2^1 would be the amount of work minorities would have to put in place, but with the discount of -1, the equation becomes balanced.

Another shit ass argument you’ve made is “If you have the ability, then you should trust yourself and therefore not rely on these rigged advantages”. HO, if we’re going to talk about rigged, why tf won’t you focus on the fact that legacy admissions exist? Why should a student have more advantage because their parents were rich and went to an ivy league school? Affirmative actions were put in place to repair a rotten root that was planted decades ago, but what do legacy admissions achieve? Nothing other than rich people receive more advantages than they already do. Why are you so fucking focused on the minority receiving equal opportunity rather than the rich who are sneaking their way to the top and pushing other capable people out of the way? Do you seriously think that you’d have more chances if the minority were to receive less opportunities? That the opportunity would flow to you instead? Because if so, you’re fucking dumb buddy. When have the rich ever been so satisfied and willing as to let other people have their left-over opportunities? You’re so scared of being put at a disadvantage by the hare in front of you that you missed a whole Leopard standing behind you. Like, I try and try to understand your way of thinking, but I just can't seem to understand. One thing I know for sure though, I don't like you and you don't like me either.

Like dude, I wish we were living in your perfect world too, where your abilities would be the only factor put into consideration when you applied for a job or university. However, we aren't, so all we can do is face reality and try to make things more balanced here, where we are actually living, and not in your universe. 

The more I sit in class with you, the more I hear of your absurd way of thinking, which frightens me as I'm afraid you're on your way to becoming the definition of an entitled white male, who thinks he knows everything there is to know about the world and believes his way is the correct way of doing things. If you need an example, here's one: Donald Trump, the orange mini president of the United States of America, aka the epitome of entitlement.
