SCHOOL TALENT SHOW !!

My school is having a talent show in around a month and today were the auditions and I MADE IT ! I mean, the bar wasn't very high to begin with, but either way, I'm happy. Nervous but happy. I chose to sing Bag of Bones by Mitski!! + A duet with my friend Pamela, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

I was shaking so much when singing because I sang in front of multiple other students, who are really talented singers. I was really nervous but I pulled through. If I hope to make it in the music industry/pursue music someday, I need to put myself out there and get over my fears, and this is the first step of many. I'm excited to see what the future holds. 

I've got about a month to prepare and best believe I'll be listening to that song so much that I'll know each and every moment Mitski takes in a breath.
