oh, to be a fairy...

oh, how i wish i was a fairy, living in a forest away from all the chaos of this human society. taking naps in the sun under the canopy of trees, making friends with wildlife creatures... singing under the moonlight, and leading occasional human astray. 

how peaceful it would be away from the fast-moving life of ordinary people, who are rushing to do anything that could distract them from the reality and the horrors of existence. i wonder what they are so afraid of? are they scared that once they know the truth of the universe they will lose all the meaning of the meaningless acts of their daily life? are they afraid to realize that all their acts are actually purposeless search of something to do to make themselves feel useful?

it is so pitiful, the life that we live. oh, how i wish i could run away and be a fairy in a forest somewhere far away.
