There is no band in history that speaks to me the way Blind Melon and Janis Joplin do.
For days when I'm up, I put on Blind Melon - No Rain
For days when I'm creative I want Soup.
For the days when I'm down and need someone to relate to I go for Nico (this was Blind Melon's last album and made of partially unreleased material and songs made just before the lead singer Shannon Hoon died of a heroin overdose. Some of these songs get real deep)
And for the days when the blues just talks to me in a way nothing else does I grab any Janis Joplin record and vibe.
You should share your tunes too. You understand how music affects people, so I'm sure you have some great choices.

I've never heard of Bad Wolves but I just looked them up and they're not bad. Admittedly I've passed the age where newer bands fly right over my head lol. But they're pretty good. I know some guys who would definitely get in to them. Thanks.
Lately I've been craving some good hip hop and I've recently discovered Phonk, which is fitting that niche very nicely. I do love screamo and all types of metal (mostly death metal), but that's usually a spring/summer vibe for me.
And I hope whatever has you fucked in your head gets easier. Sometimes life is just a drag and there's not a lot you can do but breathe and hope tomorrow gets better.
