i finished reading one of my forensics books the other day and i'm sad now. idk if you could've called it a textbook because it was more a picture book, it was full of pictures of cadavers organized by manners of death (e.g. vehicle accidents, electrocution, stabbing, drowning, etc) to discuss and give visual examples of injuries, symptoms, and other information about each manner of death. it was very cool, but now that i'm done with it the other books i have are just big textbooks. i want more picture books full of corpses u_u
in other news, i learned the other day that my state has one of the biggest cadaver farms in the US. those are where donated bodies go so that forensic anthropologists and medicolegal personnel and the like can study decomposition (among other things), and my girlfriend suggested we take a tour as a date, but they don't allow tours T_T it's for reasons that make complete sense, but i am disappointed that i probably won't be able to see something like that until i'm actually in college :'| oh well, i guess that's just more motivation.
