they talk abt how spacehey is dead and basically my same opinion.
The only two social medias i use are this and instagram, i wish everyone was more active here tho. I got four friends to migrate here but only one of them is actually active often XD (love u ari!) ---
i wish this was a primary site to everybody lol just like back in 2008.

tbh, they are kind of right, but in a way, if you come into the website expecting that, you get kind of a different feel.
when i first made my account for spacehey half a year ago, i was actually a parody account. being a character from a game i rlly liked. eventually, i realized spacehey was kind of a quiet place, unlike most of the rlly loud social media platforms i was used too (twitter, insta, youtube even) so i ended up growing distant.
EVENTUALLY, there was like some neuron activation in my brain that was like "if spacehey is so quiet, i can use my blog as a kind of diary for myself, and i dont have to worry about popularity, or fame, or my friends or ANYONE fro my irl life seeing it!" basically, i took spaceheys lowkey "Lifestyle" to my advantage, and used it for what it really is. a quiet website, that you can decorate and make your own as much as you want, and you DONT need to always share it with others, although its nice, you still get to have your own sense of privacy and contentness, without being OVERWHELEMED By short form media of todays apps and whatnot
i bet for ppl who were myspace users, they would be a little dissapointed in its less popular nature, but i think if you make a spacehjey account with this mindset, knowing that you wont get a fuckload of notifs or many things to look at the second u open the website, i feel likt it makes it a little more worthwhile :3
i like the way you think! for me personally, i only use social media as a way to keep in touch with my CLOSE friends, and i honestly never liked having a big following or a big friend group. It's nice knowing i have a good, small social circle with people who share the same interests.
on insta i post a photodump every sunday, yk with just pics i took throughout the week. I think i'm gonna start doing the same thing here on my blogs then :)
