heyyyy people...
i felt like checking out how versatile my art can be and i decided to do it by drawing myself in 3 different artstyles!!!!!
all of which have various art styles that were notable in the 2000s
the image is poorer quality because the last time i tried adding my own images to my blogs they had ridiculously big sizes and took forever to load on my potato computer...
ANYWAYS!!!!!
heres some other little tidbits
- i drew all of this during school
hours while being horribly sick
(the first drawing was drawn in my art class and then my second drawing was drawn in my math class (hence the "KILL ME" sign) and the last one was during a break) - the first drawing is HEAVILY based off the style of how outsiders viewed internet animation in the 2000s... the main inspirations and cues i took for the first drawing are specifically eddsworld classic era (specifically the 2006 - 2008 period of it) and the character spanky ham from drawn together (i watched that shows first four episodes only because i heard that hes a parody character of internet animation in particular and i wanted to check out how theyd do it)
- the second drawing is 2000s emo sketch art!!!!! i didnt draw it in a long time so it was a really nice refresher!!!!! something that pissed me off while i was doing it though was the fact that i was having so much difficulty replicating the texture that a lot of colors tend to have on older posts of emo art (if youve seen it before and have tried to replicate it you will probably know what i mean) and i was so irritated by it to the point i gave up and intentionally colored it as lazily as possible (which in hindsight i think gave the art more of a nostalgic feeling than actually trying to replicate the nostalgia itself)
- the third drawing is based off that one art style that all anime fan art had back in the late 2000s and early 2010s... i hesitate to say 2000s moe since that was what i WAS going for but it ended up looking a lot more like art from a random flash game on girlsgogames than something you would see on an otakus computer wallpaper in 2008 LOL
- LMAO my watermark is obnoxiously big... i like to think its a part of the art itself and that if its removed it feels ridiculously incomplete
just felt like sharing a bit of art (:
