I have an idea for a videogame

I have an idea for a videogame. Actually it's more than just an idea and since i've noticed today's videogames are pure SHIT, i have a LOT of hope for this thing. Do you think i should work on it more and then send the idea to some game studio i trust? what if they steal my idea and give me no credit afterwards? cause i'm sure it's gonna be epic...
