holy fuck this book series is so bad lolllll

ts pmo HOW the fuck did this get published ;-; if this became a best seller then maybe i'll make it alright as an author as i could surely write something just as bad. low-key giving me inspo to rewrite it if it was actually good because it's got some cool ideas (and i FUCKING LOVE VAMPIRES!!) admittedly it is so bad it's good. like a guilty pleasure so no hate if you like it but...

anyway basically it's called the House of Night, the main character is the Maryest Sue to ever live (usually i wouldn't care about having a Mary Sue character but in an actual book series holy shit is it bad. she has every power ever, everyone loves her, and she literally is the chosen one by god herself and god gives her advice on every decision.) 

it's weird because they were trying to be inclusive and accepting and whateva, while making the main character the most judgmental bitch ever. i'm not exaggerating when i say every single page she talks about how she hates someone or something.

she ESPECIALLY loves slutshaming every woman in the vicinity. 

so far, she hates:

-christians

-conservatives (valid)

-emos

-goths

-baggy jeans

-skinny jeans (when worn by men)

-skimpy clothing

-bigots (fair)

-women who sleep around

-alcohol

-drugs

-girls with eating disorders???

-fat people

how. why. my bitch hates everything and everyone. the thing is that it's never treated like she's being a jerk, you're actually supposed to like and agree with her.

also literally every minority character they added to be diverse is a walking stereotype. sassy black woman and sassy gay friend. wow i've never seen that one before.

she also has insane beef with this one girl, who admittedly is a bitch but not anymore then the main character. the main character sees her force herself on this guy, but doesn't hate her because that's sexual assault, she hates her for that because that means she's a slut. okay.
