Hard day at work! Phew~ but it's worth it

Hehehe guys! I'm baaaack! After a long year lol!

And here I am just to talk about work lmaooo

At work today (I work in health care ^⁠_⁠^),  I was talking to an older patient and he was telling me how he wanted me to call and reassure his wife who must be so worried. He was quite ill and had things going on that, I wanted to do other things to figure out how to get him better but he insisted I called her anyways, and I couldn't ignore his request at this point.

I ended up calling his wife, despite the list of things I had to do, to update her and to reassure her. She was very appreciative and told me to pass along the msg that she's sending him lots of love.

When I returned to tell the patient this message he also seemed very appreciative. From this interaction, I thought the couple was very cute. So I thought I'd ask a couple questions which went a lil sumn like

Me: How long have you and your wife been together?

Him: about 26 years now

Me: Wow you've passed the big 25! So what's the trick?

Him: You just gotta do as your told sometimes.

Me: *laughs* I'll keep that in mind

Him: oh no, not you, but him

Me: *laughs again* I'll tell him that
