contact pixels not working (help?)

ok, so i just set up a new layout and i’m really struggling with something.

the layout in question is this scene stars layout by lily lethal. i have not made any changes to the code, except for changing the image urls for contacts to my own images.

for some reason, no matter what i try. the images will not show up. again, i have not edited the code to an extent where this should be happening (unless there was something wrong with the code in the first place.)

it only shows up briefly when i refresh the page: 

as soon as the layout loads in, however, they disappear:

and then if you try and interact with any of the buttons, this happens:

so, uh. i need help. this is driving me insane. thanks in advance, random internet strangers.
