Man I've been ghosted so many times from a certain forum. Like I go onto it, hit it off with a person, we talk for a week then BOOM ghosted. I think I'm a chill person and don't do anything particularly off putting so idkw it always happens.
I'm only writing about this because a person I've been pretty good friends with suddenly ghosted me. Before this they where pretty iffy on when they'd respond, I don't mind it much but damn you really just gonna do that. I enjoyed talking to them too, oh well ig :(
From what I've been told people on that particular forum like to ghost a lot. Which is odd to me since that forum is for meeting new people?? I swear people on there treat it like grocery shopping and don't acknowledged the people they talk to are actual humans. I feel like the current culture on the internet kinda encourages that kinda interaction?? Like the way that people forget that there's(usually) a person on the other side of the screen. Orrrr maybe I'm just unlucky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello sweetheart, that's so sad to hear! I just joined this app and i don't know exactly how it works, but i understand completely how you feel. Like, this ALWAYS happens to me, both on internet and irl (╯︵╰,)
It's always the same. "Try to make friends!" Until you actually try to meet new people and they just ignore your whole existence. But don't worry, i'm sure it's not everyone who acts like this! Well, at least i hope so.
