Art curriculum is dumb💔

So like yk how in school you can have are as a choice subject. Why is there even a set curriculum.

Art is about self expression and being you, showing how unique you can be. Why do I have to follow someone else's art? why can't I sketch the way I want too? Why can't I paint how I would like too?? 

It's stupid and I even think The art school near me acknowledges that as you legit don't need to do art in school to get in. School freaking sucks.
