heres the fruit ocs in question. Apple, Pear and Dragonfruit. (those are sorta placeholder names, im not sure if ill change them) (also these are not their canon hights)
ok andd they each get their own little section : J along with one for their species
Apple
15, male.
Apple spends alot of his time outside walking around the town hoping to bump into a friend of his or trying to relax in places no one knows about. he lives alone (dont ask whyy i cant think of anything loll) taking care of a small apartment near the outskirts of town.
hes always stressing over something. even something small can ruin his whole day, causing him to become aggitated. he keeps to himself and is rather neutral most of the time.
Pear
16, female
shes a nerdd!! she mostly studies freshwater biology, but she does like reading about birds and other organisms too. she lives close to the sea since her dad works on a boat. her parents are helping her save up for college
Pear might seem mean or extremely introverted to strangers. but shes a whole diffrent person towards people she considers her friends.
Dragonfruit
16 (almost 17), male
Dragonfruit is calm and a bit of a jokster. he rarely takes things too seriously. he works at a cafe. hes always tired since his job requiers him to wake up early. he lives with his parents and a younger sister.
people expect him to be more energetic but hes just layed back all the time. hes very social, always bothering his friends about little things, much to Pears annoyance. Dragonfruit owns a laptop that he uses to relax or kill time.
species
ill call them fruit people since i dont have a name for themm
ok so each member of the fruit people is based off a fruit. this only affects their appearance and their skin. for example, a pineapple has tougher skin than a plum. so if they were one of these fruit people the pineapple would have a thicker and rougher skin than the plum.
they also have these "cresent" shaped parts that are diffrent than the rest of the skin on their face. this skin is thicker and less sensitive than the rest of the face. its also coloured as the outside rind of whatever fruit the individual is based of off. these cresents dont stick out much either so their side profiles are pretty much flat. its also very common for it to spread further down the body and cover the neck, back, arms, legs etc
each one of them has their own patterns too. if you look closly at the pictures you can see that Apple has swirls. every fruit has their own unique pattern. its like an animals coat! some patterns may correspond to the fruit of the individual. you can see that DragonFruit has dots on his skin, mimicking the seeds youd see on the inside.
talk about the inside. fruit people dont have organs. well atleast not the ones that come to mind (heart, lungs, kidneys, bladder, liver, etc etc). they have mouths and require food and water to survive. they something similar to a stomach that digests food with acid though. instead of the food passing through the large and small intestine. fruit people just kinda absorb the nutrience and the physical matter of the food.

its ok, you can eat the vegetable animals they have. we have cauliflower/brocolli sheep, potato cows and like something else, you can eat them
