Just joined spacehey and wanted to say hello. Feel free to add me. I am 43 years old and live in the Sierra mountains of California. I've been a fan of horror movies since the mid 80's and been playing video games just as long.

Just saying hi.

Hey there! I'm Elizabeth from the Philippines :) I didn't see a DNI so I thought I'd be free to interact with you, we have some similar interests! You seem to have a large catalogue of horror and video game knowledge, both of which I love to death!! Was wondering what are some of your favorite pieces?
Hello, It's always awesome to meet fellow horror a video game friends! My first favorite horror movie was the original A Nightmare On Elm Street. I saw it when I was about 4 or 5 years old and just loved how creepy Freddy was. I'd rent horror movies from the video store just about every weekend, and saw a lot of classics that way like Friday the 13th, Godzilla movies, Halloween, Basket Case. When I got older and DVDs were becoming a thing I got into Italian Horror movies and those became my new favorites. Movies Like Zombie, House by the Cemetery and Suspiria.
As far as video games I've been gaming since I was about 5 and enjoyed many Nintendo classics like Super Mario World, Zombies ate my Neighbors, Final Fantasy VII. A couple years ago after not playing games for a while just because of being busy I got a Nintendo Switch and a gaming laptop. I've been playing Dead by Daylight, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Splatoon 2 and 3. I play some of the "cozy" games like Stardew Valley, Fields of Mistria, Graveyard Keeper, and Sun Haven.
There's so much more but I cant think of anything else right now.
Thanks for saying hello!
What are some of your favorites?

Thats awesome! I didnt have much access to some of those classic horror you mentioned though I have seen my fair share of unconventional and more modern forms of horror, not talking about like The Nun or anything (god I hate hollywood bullcrap) but movies similar to the Substance and Get Out was my favorite for a while! For games I quite love the cozy genre you seem to play as well! Have a few tens of hours on Stardew Valley and I recently for into Final Fantasy (FFX to be precise) from a friend and I am loving it!! Would love to shoot you an IM if you'd let me^^ Id love to talk more about your interests

The Substance is a fantastic movie. I was super impressed with it. I just recently bought FFX for my Switch and am just a little ways in. Yeah you can send an IM. Since you enjoyed The Substance I bet you'd like Re-animator and From Beyond.
