What should i get a dsi or a dsi xl

So i started saving up for a dsi,and i dont really know if it is smart to mod one. I have a ds lite and i have a r4 card what games should i play on it??And i use mine old ahh ds to play ONE GAME and it is plants vs zombies and it is fuckin firee! I luv mine ds lite btw.tahs all for today!
